I have been playing around with reversing a 50mm f1.8 lens to do some nice macro photography with my new D7000 and so far I am really loving the results. Its funny to think that all you need is a 50mm and a $9 adapter ring and you can make a extremely powerful bit of kit that would other wise cost you at least $500. Even more cementing the fact the the 50mm is one of the best all time lenses ever!
